Ownership and earnings (Book publishing)

When using our services, you retain full ownership of your book. You also hold the copyright to all open and print-ready files. This is because our services are offered on a work-for-hire basis – you pay us professional rates to produce the book for you. With this model, you are free to republish or reprint your book elsewhere using the files we have created for you. This is often not the case with many other author services and independent publishing companies.
Royalties/earnings
Because you are paying for the production and publishing of your book, you earn 100% of all income derived from book sales, locally and internationally. We do not earn anything on books that we do not sell, nor for the sale of books that you have paid us to upload onto distribution platforms on your behalf.
Branding
If you use our Quickfox Pro solution, you have the option of publishing under our imprint. The advantage of doing so is that we have a good reputation for quality in the market, and it is always easier getting retailers and the media on board when books are represented by respected publishing companies rather than self-publishing authors.
However, you are most welcome to add your own logo, or to publish entirely under your own brand. You may also choose to sell larger consignments of books to companies who wish to display their own branding on the cover. We will insert their logo, redesign the cover if necessary, and print the custom consignment for you.
We also design and provide complimentary products such as point-of-sale display systems and a range of marketing materials to support your book and publication marketing initiatives, as well as your business. No matter what your needs are, we’re a bespoke production company and can make most things happen.
Our services are performed on a work- for-hire basis, so you own the final open and print-ready PDF files.
